Ashlea Shepherd Porter attended Western Kentucky University and received her Bachelors in Sociology and Political Science, with a focus in Criminology and Penology in 2006, and then attended the University of Kentucky College of Law. Ashlea began her legal career working as a Guardian ad Litem in Warren Circuit Court, and in the 38th Judicial District in Edmonson, Butler, Ohio and Hancock counties, where she later took a position as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Judge Mike McKown. Ashlea is now an Attorney at the Simpson Firm, where she practices in areas of family law, personal injury, and civil litigation. Ashlea is very active in the Bowling Green community, and dreams of becoming Family Court Judge one day.
